TUESDAY MAY 16 MEETING INFO

 Tuesday, May 16, 2017, meet "The Trash Lady", Chanel Kincaid, Zero Waste Coordinator, Resource, Recovery & Recycling Division.

Ms. Kincaid came to the City of Santa Monica 2 years ago after working at CalRecycle, Republic Services and the City of Fremont. Chanel and her 4 year old son join us, so bring your recycling questions and ask the expert what all those triangles with the numbers inside really mean.

Andrew Hoyer, Vice President and Government Affairs Officer, will give a detailed report of the Planning Commission's meetings for the Downtown Community Plan.

We will also be planning Make Music Day 2017!, produced this year by Andrew Hoyer and Nike Mikes. This international celebration is held on Summer Solstice, June 21st, and each year ours just keeps getting better.
