Santa Monica’s Government Outreach Customer Service Center -- http://www.smgov.net/sm_go.aspx -- "Here you can s ubmit comments, complaints and service requests 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your request will automatically be sent to the right staff member, and you will receive a tracking number and a response within ten days - though most requests are handled in less time."

July 28 -- City Council Candidates Forum
All City Council candidates who have filed with the city have been invited to participate, and the event will be open to the public. 
 
WHEN:    Monday, July 28, from 6:30 to 9 PM
 
WHERE:  Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium
                Santa Monica Public Library

                (601 Santa Monica Blvd. – parking entrance on
                 7th Street north of Santa Monica Blvd.)

Doors will open at 6 PM. Seating in the auditorium is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis.

August 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 – Jazz on the Lawn 2014 – Free jazz concert series each Sunday in August from 5 to 7 PM at Stewart Street Park, featuring artists Critic al Brass, Adaawe, the Tom Nolan Band, Cats with Class and Orquesta Charangoa. Rotating food and dessert trucks include Dogtown Dogs, Sweet Lucie’s Organic Ice Cream, The Lobos Truck, A ROCKin Hawaiian Shave Ice, Yalla Truck and Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream.
 
Stewart Street Park is located at 1836 Stewart (from Pico and 28th, drive north about 3 blocks.) Free parking after 3:30 PM in the Agensys lot at 1800 Stewart. Free bike valet available after 4 PM in the parking lot at Stewart Street Park. Park amenities include a children’s playground, restrooms, and handicapped parking.
